Two Words....... Pablo Alborán →
A few weeks back the Latin Grammys aired on Univision. I always like to watch the Latin Grammys because every year I am introduced to new artists and this year I was not disappointed. Pablo Alborán a young singer from Spain was nominated in several categories for his song “Sólamente Tu”. After listening to his album I fell in love with his voice and the subject matter of his songs. Check out a recent entrevista and by all means please check out his music. You will not be disappointed!
This artist was introduced to me a while back, her name is Rita Indiana. Rita Indiana is a Dominican musical artist who has been compared to a slew of other musical artists. However you choose to categorize her music, I consider her to be a refreshing figure of social consciousness through her music and literature. Check out her song “Jardinera”and a clip of Rita discussing her views on being a lesbian, her coming out story, and marriage equality.

Today here in the States millions celebrated Memorial Day. Historically called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died while serving our country. To the average American Memorial Day is spent with family and friends. I was fortunate enough to spend it with loved ones centered around a lot of laughs, impeccable conversations, and delicious food.
